1.)Climate Change: The Hoax

It seems counterintuitive that the climate change can be a hoax, yet most scientists are affirmative about it. There is no doubt the climate is constantly changing. The summers are getting hotter and the winters are getting colder and humans are held responsible for that. But is this happening because of the human induced pollution or is it just the natural cycle. The climate change is a dynamic process and it’s been taking place since the existence of earth. It is the natural fluctuation of the earth’s weather, over which no-one has any control. It happens with or without the actions of humans. Over the past 2,000 years we have seen the roman warm period, cooler dark ages, medical warm period, ice age and gradual warming to the present day and none of them was caused by humans. CO2 is held responsible for the ozone layer depletion, the rise in the earth’s temperature, melting of the Arctic Ice and for the climate change. However, even with the increased amount of CO2 in the atmosphere there has been no sign of global warming in the past 17 years. Satellite and weather balloon measurements show no statistically-significant global warming for nearly two decades. The whole global warming and climate change hoax has been created by politicians and businesses to create a multi-billion dollar industry. The global climate change industry is worth an annual $1.5 trillion, according to Climate Change Business Journal. That’s the equivalent of $4 billion a day spent on vital stuff like carbon trading, biofuels, and wind turbines. People are forced to buy stuff from the climate change industry. They are asked to go solar, go organic etc. They are held responsible for the climate change and in-order to avoid the guilt they are ready to pay anything these climate change industries are asking for. They’re already priced into their taxes, electricity bills, the cost of petrol, the cost of airfare, and the cost of almost every product and service. In which no one gets precisely anything in return except for the carbon traders, the environmental NGO’s, the environmental specialists and the government. Climate change isn’t based upon objective science. It is a hoax created by few people to make trillions of dollars.

What they haven’t told you about the climate change

2.)Can we live without technology?

It seems counterintuitive that we can live without technology. We are surrounded by technology and cannot imagine our life without it. Technology makes our life easy by helping us conduct our day-to-day activities. Alarm clock helps us get up on time. Television provides us with the world news, weather forecast and also entertains us whenever needed. Refrigerator keeps our food fresh. Transportation vehicles helps us commute from one place to another. Mobile phones and computers keeps us connected to our loved ones. Technology helps us expand businesses globally, provide great 24/7 services, keep track of our money, health, home and family. But is technology also disturbing our inner peace. Is our constant desire to be active on social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat; making us anti-social. Technology connects us globally, but is it making us loose the connection with the person sitting in the same room. Is it adding to our stress? Yes it is in a way and can we do anything about it? The answer is no. We are so used to with technology that even a day without wifi makes us restless. When asked if humans can live without technology, people generally answer that they can. Human race has been around for thousands of years without technology and it lived long enough to last up to the invention of technology. But its easier said than done.  Technology has made us lazy and greedy. We are not content with what we have and always greedy for better-better food, better environment, better job, better looks. We would like to live in a temperature controlled house and eat preserved food and call someone whenever we want and still complain about technology. It is technology which has made us what we are today and if that technology were to disappear then I would say that so would we. Is it good or bad? No-one knows.

3.)Do we still need Feminism?

It seems counterintuitive that after so many efforts being made to improve the position of women in the society and after so many feminist movements, we don’t need Feminism. However, we still need Feminism as much as before because women face a significant discrimination compared to men. Regardless of the social, economical or political status there are deep gender inequalities in many societies. Saudi Arabia prohibits women from driving. Countries like India and China Infanticides baby girls. They prefer a male child over a female child because of the dowry system and one-child policy. In U.S a women makes only 82 percent compared to her male friend working in the same field. In some countries women can’t even own a land, they don’t even have a right to initiate divorce. In-fact in many countries girls are banned from getting any education. Every single day hundreds of thousands of women faces violence, abuse and are raped, molested and humiliated. This gender discrimination is a real problem and not just a hoax. There are very few lucky people who haven’t seen it or faced it but it is still out there.

  1. I’m so glad to see this, Aspiring.
My immediate reaction is that it takes me MUCH too long to figure out which argument you are presenting as your own. The formula should be:
It seems counterintuitive that A results in B, but that’s exactly what happens. OR:
It seems counterintuitive that we don’t need C any more, but that is in fact the case. OR:
It seems counterintuitive that D is man-made, but it’s true nonetheless.

Once you establish which “side” of the argument you’re on, it will be much easier for readers to follow the thrust of your argument. I found myself very often thinking you were contradicting yourself, but most likely I hadn’t figured out your thesis.

(By the way, you don’t have to believe the position you take. Argue anything, whether it represents your true opinion or not.)
