Agenda WED JAN 24

Here is a lesson in creative writing. First rule: Do not use semicolons. They are transvestite hermaphrodites representing absolutely nothing. All they do is show you’ve been to college.

  1. Informal In-Text Citation: In a video, “British Lawmakers Approve ‘Three Parent’ In- Vitro Fertilization” (hyperlink the title) produced by WSJ Live Dr. Margaret Moon says quotation.
Dr. Moon’s argument can be made into a negative by the writer even though she advocates strongly for in-vitro fertilization.

  2. Attended your lecture and I understand the topic and assignment. I was blown away by the level of thought and effort put into this lesson, and I hope the next lesson is just as good.

  3. Attended class today where we discussed counterintuitive topics and purposeful summaries; I now have a good idea of how to paraphrase a source properly and how to write a summary in a way that will aid me in writing an essay. Also used a “transvestite hermaphrodite” semicolon there.
